Welcome from Jonathan Cohen, Festival Artistic Director

Welcome to Tetbury’s 2016 Music Festival, which has some old favourites as well as new initiatives. This year we're delighted to announce a series of lectures that complements the artistic programme.

Jonathan Cohen

We welcome back the Schubert Ensemble to the Festival with the beautiful quintets of Fauré and Brahms as well as a Schumann oddity written for the now virtually extinct pedal piano and rescued with an arrangement by composers David Matthews and Orlando Jopling.
We are also delighted to welcome the Chiaroscuro Quartet, founded by Alina Ibragimova when she was a student at the Royal College of Music.
